This post is long overdue, but I wanted to make sure I did it well. I wanted to properly say thank you and also discuss a few key points of why a thank you is needed, how I got here and not just do an empty gesture for show. This actually means something to me and I want to make sure that comes through in the post.
thank you. First, I just want to say thank you because really, that’s what this post is all about. Thank you to those who read these posts. Thank you to those who share your opinion and give me feedback in the comments. Thank you to everyone that has helped this blog and by extension, me grow. There is no way I would be the person, feminist, or activist that I am without the continued support of everyone
why i write. I write because not only because I enjoy and care about feminism + activism, but because I want to help educate and promote discussion. Don’t worry, I’m well aware that someone may follow or only read a few posts, not even thinking about it. But when I get feedback from people who actually gain something from my posts, even just one person, it’s worth it for me.
followers. Even though hitting that 1,000 follower mark is the reason I’m writing this post, it’s more than just a number. Just seeing one person comment or share their opinions makes my day. I love seeing that my blog has an impact on people like my favorite blogs have on me.
continued growth. Despite that, I think that it’s a sign of growth. And hopefully it’s a sign that more people are becoming interested in things I’m writing about.
thanks.
